Your Action Steps

Next week, you’re going to begin reaching out to half of your “A-list” using the “touch” instructions that are in the lesson. 

So think about it… you’re going to reach out to 10 people next week and the second half the week after. Then after that, these groups will be contacted every other week by you.

Let’s do the math now to show you how simple this is going to get. If you’re working with a 20 person a list and reaching out to half of the list every other week going forward, that means getting in touch with only 2 key people each day… how simple will that be! In the time it takes to say… drink a cup of coffee, your daily work is completed!

So get going now… select the first group of people that together you’re going to focus on. Aim for 20 people. Designate these 20 people as your focused “A list” by setting up an “A-list” tag in their Engage records and add the information you’re learning about them to the appropriate fields there.

Then set up the every other week contact dates in your calendar tool there and you can have confident that you’ll always be on track in building the relationships you’re seeking and building a strong referral team in the weeks ahead.

Getting started is the most work but when this is behind you, you’ll find the TRM will make it easier to get the traction you’re seeking and staying in touch will become fun.
